C. A. Gutiez spent decades working in banking information systems and fraud consulting — a career that gave him a rare insider's understanding of how digital infrastructure works, and how quietly it can fail.
That experience became the foundation of The Silent Rebellion, his science fiction debut.
Before turning to speculative fiction, he received an honorable mention for his short story Una noche en el andamio and published two romantic noir novels in Spanish. Una noche en el andamio y publicó dos novelas de género romántico negro en español.
He lives in Santiago, Chile.
